amber
smoke, typical Laphroaig with heavy sherry note
heavy sherry influence, smoke, ashes, cherry, ponzu sauce
super long, coating
enjoy the nose but find the palate too ‘winey’ with the smoke. I love Laphroaig—but this expressions I have a hard time enjoying. The heavy PX competes with the Laphroaig smoke.

Classic, elegant Islay nose… Smells like L 10
Peat and smoke, a little fireside embers, but not as peaty as 10
Tasty
The finish takes the edge off the classic L 10, making this quite enjoyable but still a strong Islay.
