Bluff
Pleasant sea air, boat pitch with tar
Light and inviting
Initially sweet with pepper and salt on the tongue, not as much as Clynelish 14
Heat finishes fast, what remains is a lingering sweetness
Friendly, a nice surprise and a great value. A definite buy.

Bop
Atypical
A bit of sea
Lean-sturdy…fisherman-like
Salt. of the pier
Not very warm – which is a welcome change
I bought a bottle the night I first tried it. What else can you say?!? Holds it’s history (Wick…fishing) well in the bottle and in it’s message.

Tao
classic seaside malt.
(end of the evening. My notes get a little fuzzy)
again classic seaside. Iodine, little peat, fresh.
just right. It was there, and then it just left a memory.
Our find of the night. One expects great things of expensive expressions, but this was a great find at a great price. On the (lengthy) buy list.
