Very tasty - a little bit of "wild peat"
Northern Highlandish
Becoming one of my favorite distilleries. I really like the heartiness of the Northern Highlands and this malt fits right in.

Cucumber. A deep inhale divulges some notes of the sea.
Light caramel, very smooth. No strong flavor spikes of any kind.
Watery at the end.
Appeared to me to be designed for smoothness at the expense of character. Over the 30 years the whisky master went for a fully integrated taste with consistency removing any roughness which is where a lot of the flavor is.
